Botox Video Clips

Botulinum Toxin A (Botox) is currently Health Canada approved for the treatment of localized muscle spasticity (e.g. from stroke or childhood cerebral palsy), cervical dystonia, blepharospasm. In the dermatology area, it is also approved for hyperhidrosis (excess sweating) and cosmetics (wrinkles). Emerging research supports its use for chronic pain including migraine headaches, myofascial pain, neuropathic pain and even arthritis. In this video, Dr. Ko will discuss his approach and experiences with Botox for pain. This includes his fibromyalgia patient Jennie who is helped significantly for her knee arthritis (CTV Nov 16 2006).
